John Pelphrey wants to bring a regular season invitational tournament to Fayetteville this Christmas season.

Maui, Anchorage, San Juan… Fayetteville.

Okay.

There was a time when nearly every school in the country hosted invitational tourneys, but that trend died out in the early 1990s.

Wholehogsports.com has more on the tournament idea, Arkansas’ schedule, and two Razorback freshmen who are already on campus.
