ARKANSAS QB DICK TAKING IN NEW OFFENSE

Much-maligned quarterback Casey Dick hasn’t exactly lit up SEC defenses in his three years under center for the Hogs, but he’s optimistic Bobby Petrino’s new offense will help him turn things around.
   
Cory McCartney at si.com checks in with Dick to see how smoothly the transition to Petrino’s high-flying scheme is going.
   
Dick didn’t exactly get his coach’s vote of confidence when Arkansas applied for a waiver to allow new transfer Ryan Mallett to play immediately, but Petrino indicated that his current quarterback is making progress.
