We should know later today where the North Texas game will be played.  The final decision will likely depend on that path Hurricane Ike takes as it heads north.  

Randy Rosetta of The Advocate traces Joseph Barksdale’s transition from a  defensive tackle to an offensive lineman.  On just about any other team in the nation, one would have to imagine that the former five-star recruit would start as defensive tackle.  But for a team already loaded with veterans Ricky Jean-Francois, Marlon Favorite, and Charles Alexander it is the sort of flexibility that can make a good team great. 

The stormy weather has given the Tigers much time to reflect on the hurricane season.  James Varney of the Times-Picayune put together a podcast with several of the players.  Hard to imagine that Kirsten Pittman, a six year player, had to deal with Hurricane Katrina too.
