MrSEC.COM POWER POLL – PRESENTED BY FOOTBALLSPEAKERS.COM (WEEK TWO)

Time for Week Two of our MrSEC.com Power Poll – presented by FootballSpeakers.com.

Our voters, once again are former SEC players David Bazzell, Chris Doering, Will Overstreet, Tyler Watts, and Stan White.  Myself, John Pennington, and our Ace Reporter, Jimmy Hyams, vote on behalf of this website.

Here’s our current ranking of the SEC’s teams from 1 through 12 (with last week’s finish in parenthesis):

1)  Florida  (1)

2)  Georgia (2) – The Bulldogs closed the points gap on Florida, but couldn’t quite catch them.

3)  LSU (4) – The Tigers actually benefitted from not playing last week.

4)  Auburn (5)

5)  Alabama (3) – The Tide took a tumble after their showing against Tulane.

6)  Tennessee (6)

7)  Ole Miss (9) – A solid jump for the Rebels, almost enough points to pass Tennessee, but not quite.

8)  Vanderbilt (10) – A good jump for Vandy, too, but just as in real life, they have a lot of teams to hurdle on their way up the charts.

9)  Kentucky (8)

10)  South Carolina (7) – The biggest drop of the week.

11)  Mississippi State (12) – Apparently one loss to La. Tech isn’t as bad as two nail-biter wins over Western Illinois and La.-Monroe.

12)  Arkansas (11)
