FINEBAUM LETS FLY ON AUBURN’S JACOBS

Last week, Paul Finebaum of The Mobile Press-Register wrote a piece that made it pretty clear that he felt it was time for Auburn to replace Tommy Tuberville.

Now that the deal is done, Mr. Finebaum is all over Jay Jacobs (left) for not getting off on a good foot in his coaching search.

“If Jay Jacobs hasn’t secured the #1 spot among the biggest buffoons in college athletics, it’s only because a new poll hasn’t been taken since the announcement of Tuberville’s firing.”

According to Mr. Finebaum, “The school needs to find someone who can slowly pick up the shattered pieces of this program.  Auburn may have only lost one game to Alabama in seven tires.  However, today, Alabama’s program is light years ahead of Auburn.”
