NEW NAMES TIED TO THE MSU COACHING SEARCH

Earlier today we posted some news that Boise State’s Chris Peterson had said he’s not interested in the MSU job.  We also mentioned the Louisiana Tech’s Derek Dooley, Cincinnati’s Brian Kelly and Clemson ex Tommy Bowden have been mentioned in connection to the Bulldogs search.

According to this story, TCU’s Gary Patterson has also been listed as a possibility to replace Sylvester Croom.

So what direction should State move in?  Hire an up-and-comer (Skip Holtz)?  Hire a proven veteran (Phillip Fulmer)?  Hire an offensive guy (I think that’s exactly what they’ll do) like Dan Mullen or hire a defensive guy like Charlie Strong?

Everyone connected to the program seems to have a different view of where to go next.
