Mississippi State Gains Four Commitments

It was a good recruiting weekend for Mississippi State as the Bulldogs received commitments from four prospects.
Athlete LaDarius Perkins from Greenville, Miss., was the first to do so. He switched his commitment from Auburn to Mississippi State.
Safety Darius Slay from Brunswick (Ga.) High School committed to Mississippi State over offers from Kentucky and Troy.
Athlete Dennis Thames from Louisville (Miss.) High chose Mississippi State over Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Michigan and Southern Miss.
The big news for the Bulldogs came from Chad Bumphis. The athlete from Tupelo (Miss.) High chose Mississippi State over Florida, Alabama and Ole Miss.
