No Tourney Locks In The SEC

Andy Glockner of SI.com has laid out his study of the current NCAA Tournament landscape… and things don’t look too good for the Southeastern Conference.

In fact, Mr. Glockner sees no locks in the conference at all.

In his view, Florida and Tennessee fall into the “should be in” category.

Arkansas, Kentucky and Ole Miss (due to the Rebels’ RPI) are considered to be “in the mix.”

That’s it.  No Mississippi State.

Joe Lunardi of ESPN.com has put out his latest Bracketology report and he has four SEC teams currently in his projected tournament bracket.

According to Mr. Lunardi, the following teams are in:

Kentucky – 6 seed – Midwest (Indianapolis)

Tennessee – 8 seed – West (Phoenix)

Florida – 9 seed – South (Memphis)

Mississippi State – 12 seed – East (Boston)

Arkansas and South Carolina were among the last four teams left out of his bracket.
