Here’s the news from Lexington this morning:
John Clay of The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Kentucky is back into the recruiting game hot and heavy for the first time since Joe B. Hall was chasing the nation’s hottest prospects back in the ’70s. (Of course, I seem to remember UK getting into some trouble in the ’80s for their hotshot recruiting ways.)
If Daniel Orton and DeMarcus Cousins are both at Kentucky this winter, how well will they be able to work together?
Kentucky will face Connecticut at Madison Square Garden as part of this year’s SEC/Big East Challenge.
In football news, UK’s defensive stars say they don’t regret bypassing the NFL Draft for one more season in the SEC.
