If anything, the real prospect of litigation tends to lend focus.
There are time when pure childishness and pride makes Defendants make foolish decision, but typically when the Defendant is paying its own legal bills and has an attorney looking out for its interests, there isn&#039;t too much game playing.  Professionals tend to want to resolve issues, not protract them.
UK most likely does not want to fight a protracted law suit over this which only will be a distraction.  Moreover, I doubt that Gillespie really has anything much to lose as UK has already made insinuations against his character to justify firing him for not winning enough games.
