Coaches’ All-SEC Team Announced; Tebow Not Unanimous

The SEC’s coaches have released their pre-season All-SEC picks and Florida, LSU, Alabama and Georgia lead the way.

Florida actually landed 16 players on this year’s squad.  Sixteen.

LSU had 10 while Alabama and Georgia both scored nine.

Ole Miss and Tennessee had seven members on the team, Kentucky six, Vandy five, South Carolina and Arkansas four each, Auburn three and Mississippi State a measly two.

But here’s the most interesting part of the story: there were only three unanimous picks to this year’s team: LSU’s Ciron Black, Alabama’s Julio Jones and Tennessee’s Eric Berry.

Read that list again.  Notice a name missing?  Try former Heisman winner Tim Tebow.

So the question is… which coach(es) decided to put their own biases ahead of what everyone else in the world has already seen with their own eyes?

Like him, dislike him, only a complete imbecile (or horse’s ass) would not vote Tebow onto the pre-season All-SEC team.

And this isn’t the first time this has happened.  Tebow wasn’t a unanimous selection last year, either.  So for those of you thinking Lane Kiffin might be the culprit (admit it, that was your first thought), the odds are it was probably someone who pulled the exact same stunt last year.

Ridiculous.
