Vandy Reserve Guard Transferring Out

Vanderbilt guard George Drake is going to transfer to another Division I school in hopes of gaining a fifth year of eligibility… having graduated from Vandy in May.

“After George initially investigated his opportunities of continuing his education, he decided it would be in his best interest for him to go elsewhere,” said Kevin Stallings.

In other words, he probably wasn’t going to play enough to build on his three-year average of 3.3 points per game.

UPDATE — According to vucommodores.com, Drake will be transferring to UAB.
