Cornerback Joe Haden is getting more and more looks as a Wildcat quarterback. He was an all-state QB in high school.
Urban Meyer might not have been pleased with the play of his offensive line yesterday, but he still believes the unit should get as much praise as Gator top gun Tim Tebow. “I love Tim, but Tim’s on every magazine and when Tim’s on every magazine there should be five guys right behind him standing there because Tim’s nothing without those five guys.”
Freshman receiver Stephen Alli (who graduated high school a year early to join the Gators) could represent a turning point in how colleges recruit prospects.
A hamstring injury has slowed the development of super frosh Andre Debose (aka “the next Percy Harvin”).
With Debose hampered by injury, Jeff Demps and Brandon James are holding down the Percy position.
Meyer expounded on the development of several of his freshmen yesterday.
