With all the attention Ole Miss’ offense is getting, you might be wondering what the Rebels’ defensive players are thinking. Here’s the take from cornerback Marshay Green: “We’ll let those guys handle the pretty boy stuff. We’re just gonna go out and hit people.”
According to this practice notes column, cornerback Marcus Temple had a big day at practice yesterday. (Oh, and Houston Nutt will apparently not suspend freshman Tig Barksdale for his recent DUI arrest.)
Freshman running back Tim Simon also had a good day.
The Rebels are back on the cover of Sports Illustrated… this time on the regional cover of their college football preview issue. (See photo at left, click the headline to see the photo bigger.)
