1. How good is Alabama’s run defense? Against Virginia Tech and Florida International, the Tide gave up an average of just 1.14 yards per carry.
2. Under Nick Saban, Bama’s defense has allowed just three tailbacks to rush for 100 yards.
3. With the run defense stout, Saban and Company are still working on the pass rush.
4. As you probably saw during our live blog of the SEC coaches’ teleconference, the status of Julio Jones and Roy Upchurch is still questionable.
