Here’s a quick look at what some of the national writers are penning about tonight’s ESPN battle between 2-1 South Carolina and 2-0 Ole Miss:

ESPN.com’s Chris Low says that this is a chance for a breakthrough win for the Gamecocks who are 1-31 versus Top 5 opponents all-time.  Good Lord.

It’s also a second shot for Rebel defensive coordinator Tyrone Nix to shut down his old boss.  The first shot didn’t work out so well last year in Oxford.
