Guthrie To Play For Title At HEB Baylor Invitational

Sophomore Abigail Guthrie of the Ole Miss women's tennis team will play for the singles title at the HEB Baylor Invitational Sunday after posting two wins on Saturday. Guthrie, seeded No. 6 in the tournament, will meet third-seeded Elze' Potgieter of Texas A&M at 9 a.m. Sunday.

No. 1 Gators Overpower Georgia, 41-17

In front of a Halloween crowd of 84,604 at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium Saturday, the No. 1 Gators defeated Georgia, 41-17, in the 87th meeting between the two SEC Eastern Division rivals. Quarterback <b>Tim Tebow</b> set the SEC record for rushing touchdowns as UF moved to 8-0 (6-0 SEC) this season.

MSU Concludes Competition At SEC Championships

OXFORD, Miss. – Mississippi State cross country teams ends competition at the 2009 SEC Championships on Ole Miss' muddy rain-soaked golf course in Oxford Saturday. The Bulldogs finished in 8th place in the men's 8K race, while the Lady Bulldogs ended the day with a 10th-place finish in the women's 6K race.
