1. Tulane coach Bob Toledo says he’s hoping for a respectable showing against LSU. “I want to be competitive, I want to not embarrass ourselves.” George S. Patton he’s not.
2. Offensive lineman Will Blackwell isn’t playing a lot, but when he does play, he plays well.
3. A pair of former high school teammates will be reunited when the Tigers and Green Wave meet up on Saturday.
4. On the hardwood, Trent Johnson wants to see more intensity out of his basketball team.
