1. According to this notes column, Steve Spurrier says Stephen Garcia has improved, but he still “needs to play a lot better if we’re gonna win big around here.” (It also looks like defensive end Cliff Matthews will miss the Arkansas game.)
2. Carolina’s players want to practice better and harder in an effort to avoid yet another late-season collapse.
3. Spurrier doesn’t necessarily agree with his players’ worries about practice. (He’s also not happy with the play of safety Chris Culliver.)
4. The Cocks are pointing fingers (would those be chicken fingers?) at themselves over their four giveaways in Knoxville.
