Gamecocks Hold Off On Mobile Athlete

South Carolina is holding off on accepting a commitment from athlete Todd Neal from Mobile, Ala., according to The State in Columbia.
Neal had planned to visit South Carolina this past weekend and commit during his trip.
South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier called Neal to tell him the Gamecocks couldn’t accept a commitment right now. Spurrier told Neal a commitment could interfere with South Carolina’s recruitment of John Fulton, a talented defensive back from Manning, S.C.
“(Spurrier) said they were not recruiting any other DBs before he finds out what that kid (John Fulton) is going to do,” Neal said.
