1. LSU has several holes to fill thanks to a rash of injuries.
2. The big story out of Baton Rouge today is Les Miles’ decision to not complain about a non-interception call in Saturday’s fourth quarter.
3. “I looked at the television feed, and I do not know what the instant replay officials are looking at,” Miles said. “I defer, and I’m going to understand that in fact these guys are doing everything they can to get it right. I’m going to figure that if there’s an issue, they’ll get it fixed.”
4. Miles did joke about the call when a reporter at his press conference said, “If that wasn’t an interception, then I’ve never seen one.”
5. Aside from the officials, Miles also spent some time explaining/defending some of his second-half decisions.
6. Miles said Brandon Taylor was LSU’s best option to replace an injured Patrick Peterson during the loss to Alabama.
7. LSU players still want to finish strong. Of course.
