Florida Searching For Second 2010 Quarterback

Florida has a commitment from quarterback Trey Burton from Venice High School in Nokomis, Fla.
Florida coach Urban Meyer is hoping to find one more quarterback.
Florida offered a scholarship to Jesse Scroggins and showed interested in Barry Brunetti, but both of those plays have committed elsewhere.
Florida now appears to making a run at Devin Gardner, who’s committed to Michigan. Florida quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler recently visited Gardner at Inkster (Mich.) High School, according to Edward Aschoff of the Gainesville Sun.
Meyer recognizes it will be difficult to convince a second quarterback to sign with the Gators.
“It’s hard to sign more than one,” Meyer said. “It’s unusual because they usually ‘X’ each other out. We haven’t made that decision yet. Would like two, but I don’t know if there are two we could get.”
