Port St. Lucie Teammates Return From Georgia

Georgia had a key recruiting weekend when it played host to Auburn on Saturday.
Two of Georgia’s important visitors were linebackers Deon Rogers and Jeff Luc from Treasure Coast High School in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Rogers, who committed to Georgia this past summer, has been considered a “soft commitment” by some recruiting analysts. Rogers said that’s not entirely true.
“I’m still committed to Georgia,” he told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “I like it most of all the colleges I’ve been to. I’d say it’s a medium commitment. I’m visiting LSU but Georgia is still my favorite.”
Rogers has already visited Ohio State.
Luc is a key prospect in the 2010 class. Along with Georgia, he’s also considering Florida, Tennessee, Florida State, Miami and Southern California.
Luc, who hopes to graduate early and enroll in college in January, hasn’t given many hints on what he’s thinking.
“I am equally open to leaving the state,” Luc told UGASports.com, “so talk of me being a lock to stay in Florida is not true. I am still working on enrolling early, so we will see what happens.”
