1. Think the BCS got things right this year? Well, did you know that Texas beat two teams that are currently ranked… while TCU also has two and Cincinnati actually has three? (This is a good read.)
2. Mark Wiedmer of The Chattanooga Times Free Press believes that things are back to normal in the SEC: Alabama is the best at football and Kentucky is the best at basketball.
3. Tony Barnhart of The AJC believes Alabama was the hungrier team in Atlanta on Saturday.
And finally, in basketball news, Vandy’s AJ Ogilvy was named the SEC Player of the Week and Kentucky’s John Wall was the league’s Freshman of the Week.
