1. Recruiting coordinator Shane Beamer is a candidate for the head coaching job at Murray State, according to an online new source.
2. Eric Norwood made first-team All-SEC.
3. This writer believes South Carolina should look to the option offense if Steve Spurrier can’t win more than 6- or 7-games in his next two seasons. (So much for beating Clemson and heading to a bowl game.)
