First Bracketology Report From ESPN

As we continue to look at basketball predictions this morning, let’s turn our eyes to Joe Lunardi’s Bracketology report for ESPN.com.

The list itself is an “insider” (paid) page on their website, but I’ll bring you the SEC info below.

According to Mr. Lunardi, the SEC is currently in line to receive six bids to the NCAA Tournament in March.

One of his last four teams to make the field: Vanderbilt.

Ole Miss is also a new arrival to his bracket.

As for teams who’ve fallen off the board, LSU and South Carolina have dropped.

Looking at the current records in the SEC, I think we can assume that he believes the following six teams will make the tourney field:

Kentucky
Tennessee
Mississippi State
Florida
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt

Mr. Lunardi, as the tourney nears, will actually start placing teams in a bracket.  The next update should come in January.
