Dorsey: Decommitted Or Dropped?

Perhaps it will never be confirmed why Demar Dorsey didn’t go to Florida.
That is if the safety from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., ends up not going to Florida.
Right now Dorsey appears to no longer be committed to the Gators, according to multiple reports.
Those same reports also say Florida pulled its scholarship offer from Dorsey rather than buying tickets to what has become a recruiting circus during the last month.
Dorsey told the Orlando Sentinel on Wednesday at about noon that he was still committed to Florida, but that certainly appears to no longer be the case.
It’s been very clear for several weeks that Dorsey would consider other schools. Florida State appears to be the favorite to land Dorsey, who has also considered Michigan, Southern California and Tennessee.
USC could still make a run at Dorsey, who played in the Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando on Jan. 2.
