Elam Update: Safety Now Favors Florida

In the last 48 hours Matt Elam has gone from being 100 percent committed to Florida State to potentially considering Florida to now decommitting from Florida State.
Sorry if that opening sentence was a little confusing. I intended for it to be that way.
Elam, a safety from West Palm Beach, Fla., has decommitted from Florida State and now favors Florida, according to Rivals.com.
Elam is still expected to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio on Saturday. Elam has also mentioned Georgia as a school he’s considering.
All signs point to Elam sticking with Florida, the school he originally committed to in October 2008.
As Elam’s mother told the Palm Beach Post, “(Elam is) having fun with all the attention.” Well, good for him.
