Florida’s Hernandez Goes Pro

No surprise on this one — Florida tight end Aaron Hernandez announced yesterday that he will forego his senior season in Gainesville in order to jump to the NFL.

Cornerback Joe Haden announced earlier this week that he, too, will be leaving early.  Several more Gators are mulling early entry into the draft as well.

According to Urban Meyer: “Aaron was one of the very best at his position that I have ever been around.”
