Former Vols Divided On Hampton

Just one day after reaching a plea agreement (guilty) for attempted robbery, former Tennessee receiver Nu’Keese Richardson has landed at Hampton University in Virginia.

Coach Donovan Rose said, “Nu’Keese is a respectful and humble young man.  He is extremely remorseful for his poor judgement in action and looks forward to coming to Hampton for a second chance.”

He will not be joined by former Vol teammate Brent Vinson.  Vinson — who said last week that he was leaving the Tennessee program of his own will and had not been dismissed from the squad — has decided not to transfer to Hampton.

“I was going to go there, but I don’t want to come back home, really, because I don’t think it would be too good for me.”
