1. Terrence Cody’s weight is still a big issue at the Senior Bowl.

17. This writer believes the lack of depth in Starkville makes these “desperate times for Mississippi State basketball.”
18. Add Hugh Freeze to the list of names tied to Mississippi’s offensive coordinator position. Freeze is the offensive coordinator at San Jose State, but a former UM assistant under Ed Orgeron. (Is that a plus?)
19. Kent Austin — who left for the head coaching job at Cornell — did not call plays in Oxford and was not even the highest paid offensive assistant.
20. Andy Kennedy says Chris Wallace’s deep thigh bruise should not limit him versus Auburn tomorrow night.
