Receiver Conley Dealing With Recruiting Attention

Christian Conley didn’t expect the recruiting attention that has come his way.

The wide receiver from North Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., has received scholarship offers from such schools as Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Clemson and Georgia Tech.

Conley said he wasn’t much of a football fan before he began playing the sport his freshman year.

“I didn’t even watch college football,” he said. “So I didn’t really expect any of this to happen and when it did it sort of took me by surprise.”

Conley will take his time before he decides on a school to attend.

“I’m trying to get a good feel and sense for these schools and their priorities and seeing if they match up with mine,” he said.
