UM’s Lockett Not Practicing Due To Heart Condition

Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt revealed yesterday that starting defensive end Kentrell Lockett is being held out of practice due to a heart condition.  He is in the process of undergoing tests to determine the exact cause of the problem.

Lockett’s heart was “racing” during practice.  Coaches ended his day at that point.  Two years ago, Lockett experienced a similar episode but was cleared to play.

Locket was third on the Rebel team last year in tackles.
