If there’s a trendy pick in the college football world this weekend it’s Ole Miss being tabbed to upset BCS front-runner Auburn.

And there are a few reasons for that. Here’s Reason #1:

Teams ranked #1 have lost on three consecutive Saturdays. And all have lost on the road. To a conference rival.

October 9th: #1 Alabama loses 35-21 at conference rival South Carolina

October 16th: #1 Ohio State loses 31-18 at conference rival Wisconsin

October 23rd: #1 Oklahoma loses 36-27 at conference rival Missouri

This Saturday, #1 Auburn travels to conference rival Ole Miss.
