Pearl Resignation Rumor Not True

Leave it to the messageboard crowd to stir something up… that everyone in the media has to chase down.

I’ve been getting a number of emails this morning from across the Southeast asking if it’s true that Tennessee basketball coach Bruce Pearl will resign today.

As of right now, that appears to be nothing more than an internet rumor. In fact, Pearl was on Knoxville radio station WNML this morning.

Gotta love them messageboards.
