Per Chris Bahn of AS360, the injury will require surgery and will likely prevent Childs from participating in spring-practice contact drills. Childs suffered no ligament damage.
Here’s the report filed by Matt Jones of WholeHogSports.com, and — let the finger-pointing begin! — Mr.Sec asks why Childs was still in the game when his injury took place.
Needless to say, this a big-time bummer. Best wishes to Greg for a speedy and full recovery.
What are your thoughts on what this means for the rest of the 2010 season?
