Mullen: MSU Will Never Lose To “That Team Up North” Again

Dan Mullen has given Ole Miss fans a video treat. Just a little something to stew over until next season’s Egg Bowl.
After State’s win over Ole Miss on Saturday, Mullen addressed his team in their lockerroom. Now, normally I would say that a coach’s words for his team aren’t meant for mass consumption. But since the MSU Alumni Association posted the clip on YouTube and since Mullen is likely to make the same type of comments to the press at some point — cause he’s Kiffinesque that way — I have no problem helping you eavesdrop.
In the clip, Mullen tells his team that they are champions (of the Egg Bowl). And then with a smile he adds, “We’re never losing to this team again.”
This clip will no doubt be shown to the Ole Miss team many times between now and next November. But from here at MrSEC.com Headquarters, we don’t see a thing wrong with this one. Mullen was simply celebrating with his team.
Of course, Rebel fans may take a different view.
