FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas forward Marshawn Powell isn’t dressed out in warm-ups tonight and it doesn’t appear the sophomore will play in the game against Florida Gulf Coast. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Powell ran with a limp for much of the second half in last Thursday’s win over Grambling State. He suffered a broken foot in August and played sparingly in one of the team’s two exhibition games.
Arkansas is also without forward Michael Sanchez, who will miss most – if not all – of the nonconference season with a foot injury.
