FootballScoop.com — a site that often grabs info from other sites without giving credit or links — reported over the weekend that Alabama running backs coach Burton Burns is a candidate for the head coaching position at Louisiana-Lafayette.
“We’ve been told that a large number of high school coaches in Louisiana have endorsed” Burns, the site reports.
Burns was a Louisiana high school coach before joining Tommy Bowden’s staff at Tulane. He followed Bowden to Clemson before joining Nick Saban’s unit in Tuscaloosa.
