Report: Ex-VU Aide Lands Furman Job

FootballScoop.com is reporting that former Vanderbilt defensive coordinator and assistant head coach Bruce Fowler has officially landed the head coaching job at Furman.

Robbie Caldwell was also a finalist for the Paladins’ job.

Fowler (and Caldwell) are both Furman alums.

The Tennessean reported last night that Caldwell might have an offer on the table for an assistant coaching job at Clemson.
