Report: Diaz Accepts Texas DC Job

LonghornDigest.com — the Scout site for the University of Texas — is reporting that Mississippi State defensive coordinator Manny Diaz has agreed to take over the same role at Texas.

Diaz was in Austin interviewing for the job yesterday.

Diaz gave a brief quote to The Starkville Daily News earlier today when he arrived back in Mississippi:

“I’d imagine in the next couple of days this whole thing will get sorted out, one way or another.”
