Running Back Milton Chooses Mississippi State

Running back Derrick Milton from Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., has committed to Mississippi State.

Milton made the commitment following a visit to Starkville this past weekend.

“I just started thinking about how good of a time I had and what am I waiting on, why not get it over with, so I did what I had to do,” Milton told Rivals.com. “The visit was big, it actually left a lasting impression on me and is the best place for me.”

Milton had planned to take an official visit to Tennessee this upcoming weekend. That pan likely changed when the Vols received a commitment from running back Marlin Lane during the weekend.

Milton is Mississippi State’s 25th commitment for the class of 2011.
