* James Franklin and staff closed nicely and brought 15 3-star prospects into the Commodore program.  Included in that count are four O-line prospects.

* Vandy also signed three quarterbacks (one being listed as an ATH) including Lafonte Thourogood who had been committed to Virginia Tech.  Thourogood’s coach said that the player believes “he’s got a chance to play quarterback really early.”  ‘Dore fans should hope that stealing a QB from Virginia Tech is a sign of things to come.
