Auburn Lands In-State Linebacker

Linebacker Cassanova McKinzy from Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Ala., has committed to Auburn.

McKinzy, who is Auburn’s second commitment for the class of 2012, also had offers from schools such as Alabama, Arkansas, Clemson and Florida State.

“Auburn…it’s so me,” McKinzy told AuburnSports.com.

Auburn’s other 2012 commitment came in October from offensive lineman Michael Flint from Oxford (Ala.) High School.
