Richt Greeted In Jamaica By Gator Chomps

Georgia’s spring practice was split in half by the school’s spring break last week. One of those folks heading to sandy beaches was UGA coach Mark Richt who spent part of his down time in Jamaica… where he ran into plenty of SEC fans.

“I’m not lying to you: The first time we laid down our stake at the beach — laid it down just barely, hadn’t even sat down yet, just trying to get the chair aligned with the sun — two Gators (fans) are right (next) to where my chair was, right where I was looking,” Richt told The AJC.

“I’ll tell you what, man: The SEC is everywhere. … I got a couple of these,” he said as he did the Gator chomp. “But I had a lot of great Bulldogs barking, too, so it was good.”
