Get your facts right before you run your mouth Barner. The NCAA recognizes 11 per their website. 1925, 26, 30, 61, 64, 65, 73, 78, 79, 92, and 2009. I agree to remove 1941 BUT Alabama should absolutely claim 1934, 45, 66, 75, and 77 which totals 16 Championships! http://www.ncaa.com/history/football/fbs

The NCAA does not recognize ANY football championships as official NCAA championships since they do not sanction a tournament at the end of the season. Check their web site and you will find no football championships listed for Division I-A.

Actually that would be the Bama's 7th National Championship (with only 3 being unanimously awarded). The NCAA doesn't reconize 13, only Bammers do.

I could care less what the statue looks like, I know what it represents…the 13th National Championship, something that other fans from other schools can only dream about. We respect accomplishment, they hug trees….

That doesn't really look like Nick Saban, it looks more like an 80 year old grandpa. If I was Alabama I would have used Blair Buswell who created the General Neyland Statue at Tennessee and does the busts for the NFL Hall of Fame. The statue of Saban could have been so much better. Buswell's work is spot on.
