Point guard Anthony Hickey signed a national letter of intent with LSU on Tuesday.
Hickey, who also considered Tennessee, Mississippi State, Butler and Western Kentucky, signed the letter during a ceremony at Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, Ky.
“He’s an unbelievably well-rounded young man,” Christian County coach Kerry Stovall said. “I’ll never coach another one like him and I’ve never coached one before, as good as he is or as competitive as he is. He’s an excellent student, young man and player.”
Hickey is the third signee in LSU’s class of 2011, which features power forward Johnny O’Bryant and guard John Isaac.
