Lee’s Brother Doesn’t Expect A Change Of Heart

Plenty of schools will continue to recruit Dillon Lee despite his commitment to Alabama.

The linebacker from Buford (Ga.) High School announced on Monday his commitment to Alabama over offers from Georgia, Florida State and Southern California.

Lee’s older brother, Georgia sophomore offensive lineman Dallas Lee, said he expects other schools to keep calling Dillon trying to change his mind.

“People don’t think an early commitment is really where they are going (to sign),” Dallas Lee said. “But I didn’t change my mind after committing early, and I don’t see (Dillon) changing his. He put a lot of thought into it. He’s pretty solid on Alabama.”

Fans in Georgia were hopeful Dillon Lee would be solid to Georgia after the Bulldogs offered him a scholarship on May 2. The offer just wasn’t in time.

“I was very serious about Georgia,” Lee said. “My brother plays there. You know, they just came in too late. They came in real late.”
