Ryan Harrow Heading To Kentucky

Ryan Harrow is transferring from North Carolina State to Kentucky.

I am a Kentucky Wildcat!” Harrow posted on twitter. He also considered Georgia, Louisville and Texas.

Harrow will have to sit out the 2011-12 season. He will be eligible to play in the fall of 2012.

I have to work hard and play to my full potential,” Harrow said. “By recruiting me, Coach (Calipari) thinks I can be one of the premier guards.”

Harrow averaged 9.3 points and 3.3 assists per game as a freshman at N.C. State last year.

Alabama Offers Quarterback Gardner

Alabama has offered a scholarship to quarterback Will Gardner from Coffee County High School in Douglas, Ga.

Alabama is the third school to offer Gardner, who also has received official invitations from Mississippi State and Louisville.

“Louisville was the first to offer me and they say I am the top guy on their board,” Gardner told ESPN Insider via text. “I really wasn’t expecting it when it came. It was a surprise. Alabama and Mississippi State were the same way. I haven’t been offered by Florida but they seem serious.”

Gardner plans to visit Alabama for a camp on June 5. The Crimson Tide could receive his commitment during the visit.

“They are my favorite and right now I am kind of shooting for Alabama,” he said. “I had a video chat with Coach (Nick Saban) and it’s my dream to play in the SEC.”
