Auburn Players Get Their Rings

Members of Auburn’s BCS championship squad have some new bling this morning. The school’s championship rings were doled out yesterday and a number of Tigers tweeted photos — like the one at left — of the rings.

The players actually received three rings total… one for the SEC championship and two for the BCS title.

(So how many Bama fans do you think are checking the NCAA rulebook regarding rings today?)

Of course, by itself, it’s just a cold metallic thing. Only wins can make a golden title ring.
